Life has a funny way of forcing us to slow down. What was supposed to be a ten-day motorcycle adventure across the Southwest became a lesson in patience, postponed dreams, and realizing that sometimes the road isn't saying "no", it's just saying "not yet."
I rode through hail, heat, crosswinds, mechanical problems, emotional confusion, a cheeseburger omelet with pickles, and a weekend that left me with more questions than answers. Somewhere in the middle of all that chaos, a complete stranger reminded me why I write.
